About the Academy
All Ages Driving Academy is the business name of Ace Behind the Wheel LLC. We provide driving instruction in Orange County. Submitting an enrollment request does not confirm an appointment or create a payment obligation.
Website information and inquiries
You may browse our packages and contact us with questions. A website inquiry, package selection or visit to a booking page does not reserve an appointment or create an enrollment. Please provide accurate contact details and do not misuse the site or attempt to access another person’s records.
Lessons, prices and payment
Current advertised lesson packages are 1 lesson / 2 hours for $195, 3 lessons / 6 hours for $540, 5 lessons / 10 hours for $900, and 10 lessons / 20 hours for $1,800. The DMV test vehicle package is $285; eligibility, location, availability and inclusions must be confirmed with the school.
Students may submit enrollment requests and confirm scheduling separately. Payment will be due at pickup before instruction. This website’s enrollment form does not collect online payments or payment-card details. Confirm the package, price and applicable enrollment terms before purchasing.
The following policies describe our services. Reading these policies does not create a booking or payment obligation.
DRIVING-LESSON PACKAGES & REFUNDS
Driving-lesson packages are assigned to one student and cannot be shared or transferred. Students should complete their package within 12 months of payment. If more time is needed, contact the school to request an extension. Unused prepaid instructional hours will not automatically be forfeited solely because 12 months have passed.
Students may cancel their remaining driving-lesson package and request a refund for unused instructional hours at the package’s original hourly rate, less separately owed and previously disclosed cancellation fees. Completed hours will not be repriced at the single-lesson rate. Approved refunds will be issued within 14 calendar days, generally through the original payment method.
These unused-hours refund terms apply to driving-lesson packages, not to the fixed-fee DMV test vehicle package described below.
DRIVING-LESSON CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & STUDENT LATENESS
Give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson without a fee. Less than 24 hours’ notice or a no-show results in a $50 fee. The lesson credit remains available to reschedule; the school will not also deduct its instructional hours. The fee is due before the next lesson. The school may waive it for an emergency or other circumstances.
Please be ready at the confirmed pickup location at the scheduled time. If the student is less than 15 minutes late, the lesson may proceed and will end at the originally scheduled time. The reserved lesson is charged in full, with no additional late-arrival fee. Only actual instruction time will be recorded toward required training hours; additional instruction may be needed to complete those hours.
If the student is not ready within 15 minutes after the scheduled start time or the instructor’s actual arrival, whichever is later, the appointment may be treated as a no-show. The $50 fee applies, but the lesson credit remains available to reschedule.

INSTRUCTOR ARRIVAL & DELAYS
Our instructors make every effort to arrive on time. However, because lessons take place on public roads, an instructor may arrive up to 15–30 minutes late due to traffic or other legitimate circumstances beyond their control. Such delays do not constitute a cancellation and are not grounds for a refund. If a delay occurs, the full scheduled lesson time will still be provided. If the instructor is unable to attend, we will offer an alternate date and time to accommodate the student at no additional charge.
SCHOOL-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS
If the school cancels a lesson because of weather, a vehicle issue, instructor illness or another school-related reason, the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional charge and no cancellation penalty will apply to the student.
DMV TEST VEHICLE PACKAGE — $285
This package includes a school vehicle for the DMV driving test and instructor support throughout the appointment. Your instructor will assist with DMV office check-in and required paperwork, guide you through each step, remain at the DMV throughout your appointment, provide the vehicle’s proof of insurance for the test, and drive you back to your agreed drop-off location afterward. The instructor does not accompany you inside the vehicle during the DMV driving test.
The package reserves the vehicle and instructor for a three-hour appointment window, making them unavailable for other bookings. The $285 is a fixed package fee, not an hourly rate. Finishing early or using less than the reserved time does not qualify for a partial refund or lesson credit.
If the DMV testing process takes longer than three hours, there is no additional charge for completing that appointment.
The student must bring all required documents and meet DMV testing requirements. DMV determines eligibility to test and the test result.
CANCELLATION BY DMV AT THE APPOINTMENT
If DMV cancels or cannot conduct the test after we arrive for the appointment, for a reason outside the school’s control and not caused by the school’s failure to provide the agreed service, the $285 package fee remains payable and is not refundable, except where required by law.
The fee covers the vehicle and instructor’s reserved time, transportation, and appointment assistance—not a guarantee that DMV will conduct the test. Return transportation to the agreed drop-off location remains included.
This section addresses cancellation by DMV after arrival. Student cancellations and cancellations before departure are addressed below. Charges when a student cannot test because of missing documents are addressed in the Required DMV Documents and Test Eligibility policy.
DMV PACKAGE CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
If the student cancels or reschedules at least 24 hours before the confirmed pickup time, no cancellation fee applies. The student may reschedule or receive a refund of any package payment.
If the student cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice or misses the confirmed pickup, a $50 fee applies. Any remaining prepaid amount may be refunded or applied to a replacement appointment. The full $285 package fee will not also be charged for that cancelled or missed appointment. The school may waive the $50 fee for an emergency.
If DMV cancels before the instructor departs for pickup, the student may choose free rescheduling or a refund of any package payment. If DMV cancels after arrival, the Cancellation by DMV at the Appointment policy applies.
If the school cannot provide the agreed DMV package service, the student may choose free rescheduling or a full refund of any package payment.

REQUIRED DMV DOCUMENTS AND TEST ELIGIBILITY
Students are responsible for bringing the original documents DMV requires and meeting its testing requirements. The school will provide a preparation checklist and ask the student to confirm readiness before departure. DMV makes the final decision about eligibility to test.
If a missing document or eligibility issue is identified before departure, contact the school immediately. The student cancellation and rescheduling policy applies, with an emergency exception at the school’s discretion.
If the school has provided transportation and appointment assistance, but DMV cannot conduct the test because the student lacks required documents or does not meet testing requirements, the $285 package fee remains payable, except where required by law. Return transportation to the agreed drop-off location remains included.
This charge does not apply when the test cannot proceed because the school failed to provide its agreed vehicle, documentation, or service.
Enrollment requirements and school agreement
Before instruction begins, the school must confirm the student’s eligibility, required permit or license, and any parent or guardian requirements. Review the enrollment agreement for package validity, refunds, safety expectations and any recording practices before agreeing or paying.
Online courses and other linked services
Online Driver’s Ed, Traffic School and DMV practice tests are available through the links identified on this site. We may earn a commission when you enroll through these links. Review the course provider’s eligibility, price, payment, refund and privacy terms before purchasing. A purchase through an online-course link does not enroll you in Academy behind-the-wheel lessons. Confirm traffic-school eligibility and deadlines with the court handling your citation.
DMV outcomes
Completing a course or driving lessons does not guarantee a permit, license or passing DMV test result. The DMV determines eligibility and test results. For current requirements, see the California DMV instruction-permit information.
Privacy and updates
See our Privacy Policy for information about website contacts, enrollment data and email notifications. We will update this page when the Academy opens or its website terms change, with a revised effective date. Any future enrollment agreement will be presented separately before acceptance.
SMS lesson notifications
All Ages Driving Academy, operated by Ace Behind the Wheel LLC, offers optional automated text messages for driving lesson confirmations, appointment reminders, and rescheduling or cancellation updates. This program does not include marketing messages.
By selecting the SMS consent checkbox, you agree to receive these notifications at the mobile number you provide. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing lessons. Message frequency varies based on your bookings and appointment changes. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from text messages. You may receive an automated confirmation of your opt-out. Unsubscribing from texts does not cancel your lessons.
